When Brad and I met back in 2014, I had no idea that he had planned to move to Arizona a few shorts months after we had started dating. Arizona? What on earth is there to do in Arizona other than go to the Grand Canyon? How many times can one person go to the Grand Canyon? Surprisingly, Arizona is FILLED with such amazing adventures it turned out to be a perfect place for two New Yorkers to start their lives together. As soon as we decided that I, too, would move to Arizona, I started keeping track of all of the places I wanted to visit – an Arizona Bucket List if you will.

A note: Our last year spent living in Arizona was during COVID. The pandemic closed down so many sights and limited visitors even more to some of the most sacred places, to preserve and protect those who needed protection the most. With that being said, we were unable to travel and continue to mark things off our Bucket List for the last 13 months of our time spent in Arizona. So, when we moved to Colorado, we were down to five (YES YOU READ THAT RIGHT ONLY FIVE) items on our Bucket List not crossed off. I did include the remaining five in this list because even though we weren’t able to see them, I know we would have loved them. Plus, that leaves more adventures for when we visit Arizona 🙂
Happy traveling!
